About the Role:
Clover is seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to join our Facilities Operations team. This key role will ensure the upkeep, safety, and efficiency of Clover’s facilities by overseeing maintenance staff and completing hands-on projects as needed. Reporting to the Director of Facilities Operations, the Maintenance Manager will perform essential tasks to support facility functionality and assist in leading the department in the Director's absence.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and allocate tasks to the Facilities Operations team, including maintenance technicians, custodians, and environmental specialists.
- Build and manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Oversee and complete maintenance tasks across the facility, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
- Perform regular building and equipment inspections, addressing any deficiencies in line with OSHA and Head Start standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintain records of completed work.
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues and work overtime as necessary.
- Serve as a key member of our Essential Personnel, leading facility preparations for emergency events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years in a skilled maintenance role, with at least 5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred. Industry certifications in HVAC, electrical, or related fields are a plus.
- Skills: Proven expertise in maintenance skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repair.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and work in confined spaces.
- Certifications: Valid Louisiana Driver’s License.
- Communication: Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Availability: Willingness to work emergency overtime and serve as essential personnel during pre- and post-hurricane or other emergency events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,800.00 - $70,000.00 per year
