Altemp Mechanical Inc., an established family owned and operated commercial HVAC/R service company, is looking for experienced Dispatcher/Service Coordinator to join our team.
The position will involve:
· Responding to customer service requests via telephone and email
· Matching the best suited job to the most appropriate Service Technician, considering several factors, such as specialty expertise, opportunity level, and geography
· Managing service technician daily schedules, including changes which happen throughout the day
· Process parts returns with vendors
· Reviewing technician paperwork for accuracy
· Receiving customer payments and process invoices to customers
· Communicating effectively with managers, techs, and customers. Provide exceptional customer service to customers.
· Assisting with other office duties as needed
Qualifications for the Dispatcher/Service Coordinator position include:
- MUST be a self-starter and work independently
- Prior dispatching, project management, schedule coordinating experience required
- Experience in HVAC or similar trade preferred.
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in reviewing documents for accuracy
- Ability to manage a multiple line phone system.
- Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to see what needs to be done, take charge, and do it!

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
