Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and heating systems.
- Troubleshoot HVAC/R issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations during installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R design principles and property maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and plumbing equipment.
- Knowledge of appliance repair techniques is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC are preferred.
