Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and heating systems.
Troubleshoot HVAC/R issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations during installations and repairs.
Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair.
Familiarity with HVAC/R design principles and property maintenance practices.
Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and plumbing equipment.
Knowledge of appliance repair techniques is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients effectively.
Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC are preferred.

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
