Technician responsibilities:
· You will work closely with the service department to provide timely and accurate service by following company standards and procedures.
· You will travel to customers' homes to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing systems
· Identify and communicate plumbing issue(s) with customers and provide accurate estimates
· Maintain a fully stock inventory for each job
· Document work performed by following company procedure
· Maintain professional conduct and appearance in all working conditions
· Thorough understanding of plumbing systems and able to troubleshoot/repair
· Familiarity and ability to use smart phones and tablets for compiling job information (before and after photos, service notes, quoting, etc.)
· Assemble and install valves and fittings
· Install, repair, and maintain sinks and toilets
· Install, repair water heaters (gas and/or electric)
Requirements/Experience:
· Highschool Diploma or GED
· 3-5 Years full time experience in servicing, maintaining and installing of residential and commercial plumbing systems
· Plumbing certification or licensing a plus
· 1-2 years’ experience in light general carpentry and/or light electrical is a plus
· Valid/Clean driver’s license
· Ability to pass a background check, drug screen and DMV check
· Ability to perform all plumbing tasks safely/efficiently
· Ability to (sometimes) work a flexible schedule
· Must have own hand/small power tools
· Must do inventory on own service vehicles/pass a monthly vehicle inspection
· High quality tradesman/motivated/good communication
· Good Morals/ethics/interpersonal/positive attitude
· Must have great customer service skills

· Physical requirements of this role:
-Ability to lift 50 lbs
-ability to work in extreme weather
Ability to safely climb ladders
· Ability to wear safety gear correctly
· Ability to be at elevated levels
· Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces
· Ability to use a cable machine (like a rigid K-60)
· Lift station maintenance and repair knowledge is a plus
· Hydro Jetter and video scoping knowledge is a plus
