Dispatcher - Plumbing & HVAC

Are you a hardworking, self-starting person with a solid work ethic who also has a positive attitude? If so, you would love to work at Air & Plumbing Today! We’re looking for an energetic, polite and professional plumbing and HVAC dispatcher to join our growing team who can work a variety of shifts including day shift, evening shift and night shifts.

As a dispatcher, you will match the right technician to every job, helping achieve our company goals.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate customer calls and assign the best technician to each service appointment based on location and job type.
Relay accurate information to technicians, ensuing proficient, quality customer experiences via text, phone call and/or field service app.
Manage the location and needs of technicians in the field.
Be professional and establish customer rapport, encouraging repeat business from our valuable customer base.
Respond to customer requests, resolving issues quickly and professionally with a positive attitude.
Update customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress and location as they approach the job site.

Requirements:

Dispatcher experience 1-2 years
Proven track record in good customer service.
Bilingual is a HUGE plus but not required.
Can use computers and mobile phones.
Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Ability to build trust, diffuse conflict and handle challenges with a positive attitude.
Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team.
Highly motivated, flexible and great attitude on life.
Experience with either HousecallPro or ServiceTitan dispatching software or similar
