Qualifications:
- EPA Universal Certification
- HVAC Certification
- 5-10 years of experience as an HVAC technician
- Must be self-motivated
- Must have the ability to accept responsibility for his/her actions.
- Must be detail oriented and can pay attention to even the smallest details of a project or task at hand.
- Must be reliable and trustworthy.
- Must have the ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
- Must pass a drug screen
Special Knowledge Required:
- Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
- Ability to run copper piping and PVC
- Ability to organize work and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understands and has mastered the heating cycle
- Understands refrigeration recovery, evacuation and charging, understands the installation and sizing of refrigerant piping
