HVAC / Maintenance Techs will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including identifying the need for repairs, responding to guest's maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment.
To be an effective HVAC / Maintenance Tech, the candidate needs to be skilled, hard-working and have outstanding problem-solving abilities. Physical stamina and strong technical knowledge are important parts of the successful candidate’s talents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic maintenance tasks including, but not limited to: painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool & spa (minor repairs)
- Troubleshoot and repair company machinery equipment or appliances
- While walking throughout the property, make note of items in need of attention
- Respond to guest room calls/maintenance calls in a timely manner
- Keep all maintenance storage areas neat and clean
- Be an active participant in inventory control
THIS POSITION IS AN HOURLY BASED POSITION, ABILITY TO NEGOTIATE BASED ON OVERALL EXPERIENCE.
A successful candidate for our Maintenance Associate position will also have general knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC / refrigeration as well as customer service skills. This individual must be self-motivated with an eye for detail, a high sense of team spirit, pride, drive and desire to not just meet, but exceed guest's expectations.
HVACR Responsibilities:
- Trouble shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning /refrigeration systems.
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
HVACR Qualifications:
- Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skill
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification required
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
- Extremely organized with good communication skills
- Detailed oriented with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Must be a team player
