Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable HVAC Parts and Warranty Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing parts inventory, processing warranty claims, and providing exceptional customer support. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our service department and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain HVAC parts inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely reordering.
- Process warranty claims for HVAC products and equipment, working closely with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Assist customers with warranty inquiries, providing clear information about coverage and claims processes.
- Collaborate with service technicians to identify and procure necessary parts for repairs and installations.
- Deliver parts to the field and be prepared to assist with installation.
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage, warranty claims, and inventory levels in the company database.
- Monitor industry trends and product updates to ensure compliance with warranty policies and regulations.
- Provide support to the service team in troubleshooting parts-related issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers for effective warranty processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in HVAC or a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in HVAC parts management or warranty administration.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, parts, and warranty processes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
