Overview
We are seeking a skilled and bilingual (English/Spanish) Plumber to join our team as an instructor. The ideal candidate will have extensive plumbing experience, strong knowledge of plumbing systems, and the ability to communicate effectively in both languages. In this role, you’ll teach essential plumbing skills, such as blueprint reading, system installation, and repair, to both English- and Spanish-speaking students, helping them build careers in residential and commercial plumbing. This position pays cash.
Duties
- Teach plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance techniques, including piping, fixtures, and appliance setups.
- Instruct students on reading and interpreting blueprints for accurate project layouts.
- Demonstrate pipe threading and assembly for a variety of projects.
- Lead practical inspections to identify and address plumbing issues.
- Guide students on safe lifting and handling of materials and tools.
- Ensure adherence to local plumbing codes and regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in English and Spanish for bilingual instruction.
- Expertise in plumbing systems, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and instruct on site safety and construction protocols.
- Prior teaching or mentoring experience is a plus.
