Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, with the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the capability to work in various environments, including construction sites. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine plumbing layout.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly for various plumbing applications.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify leaks or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project completion.
- Operate tools and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during installations or repairs.
- Troubleshoot issues related to HVAC systems as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in construction plumbing techniques and practices.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to plumbing systems.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with plumbing installations.
- Knowledge of welding techniques for pipe fittings is a plus.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is advantageous.
- Valid commercial driving license may be required for transportation of materials to job sites.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
