Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Perform electrical work on commercial projects, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution
- Troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems, such as fire alarms and security systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Safely work with high voltage equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with other trades, such as frame carpentry, to complete projects on time and within budget
- Install and program logic controllers for industrial automation systems
Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Enrolled in or completed an accredited electrical apprenticeship program
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyperson Electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Experience working on commercial and industrial projects
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Familiarity with high-voltage equipment and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
