Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly in industrial settings. This role involves instalation EV Stations throughout the state of Virginia. The Journeyman Electrician will utilize various tools and equipment, including voltmeters, power, and hand tools, to perform tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with NEC standards.
Renovate existing electrical installations to improve efficiency and safety.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine layout and installation procedures.
Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
Work with high voltage systems as required, ensuring all safety measures are in place.
Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed on construction or renovation projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.

Requirements

Proven experience as an industrial electrician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices.
Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
Familiarity with using voltmeters, power tools, hand tools, and other electrical equipment.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
A valid electrician’s license
Must be willing to travel. This position will require travel throughout the state of Virginia.
