Reliant Air Conditioning, one of Dallas–Fort Worth’s premiere heating and air conditioning service providers, is looking for a talented and motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our team!
As HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our customers’ HVAC systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, repairing and calibrating systems, replacing system components, and diagnosing problems. Additionally, you will also be responsible for communicating with customers regarding problems and issues with their systems as well as the cost to fix those issues.

Job Functions
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems, and performing warranty services.
- Troubleshooting defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses.
- Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning coils and air handling units, monitoring, and calibrating air handling units.
- Improving air quality by cleaning ducts to optimize efficiency.
- Fixing, replacing, and adjusting vents, and ductwork.
- Ensuring condensation drain line is free of debris and draining properly.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions.
- Maintaining service truck.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Health and Safety Act.
- Participate in other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- State of Texas certified technician registration.
- Active HVACR certification.
- 7+ years previous HVAC residential service experience.
- Strong time management skills and a self-starting mentality.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain effective relationships and communicate with a diverse group of senior leadership, managers, customers, and staff either in person, via telephone or via e-mail.
- Computer skills with proficiency in programs such as but not limited to, MS office, including Word, Excel, & Outlook.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
- Critical thinking processes and problem-solving expertise.
- Results oriented and customer focused.
- Ability to change and adapt to current and future responsibilities and circumstances.
- Work occasionally requires more than normally scheduled work hours to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Ability to work well within a team-oriented environment and build effective relationships within the team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
