Foreman Responsibilities
Ability to use Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Complete and concise paperwork such as JHA’s, Daily reports, and weekly toolbox topic meetings.
Must be organized, plan and coordinate work ahead of time.
Effectively manage each task by ensuring that all materials, tools, equipment, and job information are on the jobsite ahead of time.
Communicate with vendors, engineers, owners, project managers and other contractors to assure jobs are completed within scope and within budget.
Treat client with highest degree of respect and work to develop a partnership environment.
Work as team member by assisting others where needed and following a neat and process-oriented professional work style.
Be efficient with your time and materials while ensuring top quality electrical installations.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Responsible for managing and maintaining all tools. Misuse or abuse of equipment will not be tolerated.
Attention to detail and handle every client request with professionalism.
Estimate the general amount of time and material to complete service tasks, considering the needs and manpower requirements.
Schedule: Normal work week is Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This position may require nonstandard work hours, and Overtime.
Qualifications
Current TX electrical journeyman/journeywoman license
Minimum of 4 years documented field work in the industrial and/or commercial industry or completion of 4 years of an electrical apprenticeship program.
Current driver's license
OSHA 10 and or OSHA 30
Excellent understanding of the electrical industry
Punctual, motivated and detail oriented
Possess strong interpersonal skills to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in our business strategies.
Must be able to work well and with others.
Willing to travel as needed.
