Job Summary:

Acme Stove & Fireplace Center is a family owned and operated business with over 40 years of experience in the hearth industry. We have three 5,000sqft plus showrooms in Harrisonburg, Charlottesville and Richmond Va. We are currently looking to hire a full time gas service technicians as well as a full time wood/gas stove & fireplace installer. We are expanding our service and installation crew and would like to find a highly motivated individuals to join our team. Acme Stove & Fireplace offers service for all of the products we sell and install as well as perform service on all gas logs and fireplaces in our area. Preferred Qualified service candidates would include experience in the gas/plumbing industry. Preferred Qualified Installer needs to be hard working/ have minimal carpentry skills-be able to lift heavy times and climb ladders. Service and/or Installer candidates that currently hold a Master Gas Fitters License or HVAC license will earn top dollar- all other service/installer candidates can get on the job training. Must have clean criminal background.

Service Responsibilities and Duties:

- Service and trouble shoot gas fireplace and logs

- Install gas logs and set up new installs

- Perform 4-6 service calls a day - M-F

- Be able to communicate with homeowners and contractors on site

- Ensure company vehicle is properly maintained

Installer Responsibilities and Duties:

- Install wood and gas stove and fireplaces

- Able to lift heavy times

-HVAC experience welcomed

- Hard working and willing to learn

Qualifications and Skills:

-High School diploma or equivalent

-Master Gas Fitter/HVAC license preferred

-Must be hard working and self motivated

-Willing to learn- we will provide training

-Clean Criminal History

-Drug Screening

-Ability to work independently

-Company will provide all tools and training

Benefits:

-Hourly Pay- depends on experience $18 - $30 plus

Needed: Service Tech for gas logs and fireplace

Master Gas Fitters Liscense and experience preferred
