Overview
We are seeking a dedicated eager hvac knowledgeable person to join our team.Must live in the northland area, The ideal candidate will have some background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and possible refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in both residential and commercial properties. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC equipment while providing excellent customer service while under the supervision of a lead technician in the field.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
- Install new HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all work performed.
- Ability to drive company vehicle with proper care and licensing with minimal violations
Skills
- Proficiency as a service technician with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems.
- Ability to build, design, and install various HVAC components effectively.
- Strong skills in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations.
- Experience in appliance repair is a plus for troubleshooting integrated systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics for efficient diagnostics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
