HVAC Technician
Blue Northern Air Conditioning is a fast-growing, locally owned HVAC company serving Greater Houston and the surrounding areas as well as Beaumont/Port Arthur. We are looking for a motivated, reliable, and honest individual to join our team as a HVAC Service Technician.
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all types of equipment including package units of all sizes, furnaces, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment.
- Work on all brands controls such as: Lennox Prodigy, Carrier Open and System Vu, Trane RTRM and RTOM, York control boards.
- Work with building automation systems
- Perform on-call emergency service as needed.
- Complete required training to obtain certification and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle and equipment.
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner to ensure an effective customer service experience.
Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 years of experience as an HVAC technician in the commercial HVAC industry preferred.
- EPA Universal Certification required. EPA Universal Certification is required for all Channelview, TX employees at Blue Northern Air Conditioning. EPA Universal Certification is required for all Channelview, TX employees at Blue Northern Air Conditioning.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
