Description:
The Commercial HVAC Service Technician is responsible for completing the installation, service, and maintenance of various commercial HVAC systems. We work seamlessly with an experienced technician while meeting our customers’ HVAC needs with integrity.
Requirements:
Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)
- Site visits from Atlanta to Nashville
- Working seamlessly with senior technician.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenances for a variety of commercial equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset.
- Provide high level customer service.
- Actively participate in NCCER Curriculum.
Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Understanding of HVAC components and terminology.
- Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment
- Ability to perform a maintenance independently
- Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning
- Basic knowledge of entry-level HVAC concepts such as basic electricity, air distribution systems, basic troubleshooting, soldering/brazing, etc
- High School Diploma or GED/Associate Degree or certification preferred
- Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices
- Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
- EPA Certified
- Valid Drivers’ License
- Minimum two years of HVAC experience required.
Physical requirements
- Required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
- Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
