Job Description
*Hourly wage will depend on years and level of experience.
Experienced start-up technician needed!
Responsibilities:
Must be able to troubleshoot, service and repair as needed. Experience with mechanical equipment including but not limited to: diagnostics of refrigeration and electronics circuits. Ability to repair and/or replace components.
Must demonstrate competentcy in the installation and service practices for essential components of HVAC systems including but not limited to: DX piping systems, chilled water piping systems, thermal storage systems, and building automation systems.
Inspects assemblies and installation to specification.
May require installation such as air-conditioning and heating, ventilation ducting, cabinets, shelves and other equipment.
Clear and professional communication with office and customers
Staying up to date with technology requirements
Performs related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.
Position Requirements:
· Minimum 5 - 10 years of HVAC experience
· Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
· Basic reading, writing and math skills required
Physical Requirements:
· Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position.
· Ability to accomplish Sheetmetal fabrication/installation processes
· Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and have the ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes.
· Must be able to lift/carry 20-25lbs on a daily basis
