TESS LLC is looking for experienced Lead and Marine Electricians technicians located in Fort Lauderdale Florida office.
- Candidates must have at least 5 years experience holding the position of a Marine Electrician or an ETO. We are looking for self motivated persons who have experience working with a crew of electrical technicians on single or multiple projects.
- Candidates must be strong in troubleshooting skills on all onboard electrical systems with excellent electrical theoretical knowledge.
- Marine electrical experience is required
- Industrial Electricians will be considered depending on experience
- Must be able to use hand and power tools effectively
- Previous experience in the Yachting industry is a plus.
- Will strongly consider experienced sea going Electrical Engineers or ETO in the Yacht and Commercial industries.
- Candidate must be proficient in Marine electrical installations, generation systems, general marine electrical practices, Switchboard and switching equipment, electrical drawing capable, troubleshooting. Must have experience is all medium voltages.
- Must have the ability to read, decipher and fully understand electrical schematics.
- Have ability to work with others and direct work to others.
- Must be personable and willing to converse with Customers
- Must live or willing to move to the Fort Lauderdale Florida area.
- Must be physically fit and have ability to work in technical spaces on board vessels
- Must have leadership qualities with the ability to work with a group or on your own.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Electrical theory and calculations
- Must have experience with Classification Society or Code requirements to ensure the right questions are asked.
