Silver Tree Plumbing & Heating, LLC is looking for an HVAC Residential Service Technician with 3 plus years of experience who can diagnose, provide maintenance and repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems in new residential homes. Be able to balance heating and air conditioning systems. Must be able to install and repair gas lines, educate customers on system maintenance requirements. Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient reading skills, including the ability to read and apply manufacturers’ service instructions and communicate this to residential and commercial customers
Ability to exercise judgement, make decisions and work independently
Ability to work efficiently with time pressure, project deadlines, varying the demands or needs of the customers
Excellent communication skills and exceed customer expectations. Communicate with customers using terminology they can understand
Ability to pass a background check and pass the pre-employment post offer and drug screening
EPA certified required, NATE certification preferred
Ability to professionally represent Silver Tree, maintain a professional appearance and attitude
Job Duties:
Complete service calls in a timely manner and with a continuous focus on customer service
Service new Constructions Residential Homes, diagnostics/testing, trouble shooting and repairs
Routine maintenance and teaching customer on routine maintenance
Communicate with service department members, manager and residential customers with respect and dignity
Customer payments, track parts needed to ensue proper billing
Participate in internal and external training / educational classes
Assist with installs, equipment change outs if needed
Maintain inventory of parts, van stock and returns
On-call
Requirements:
2 to 3 years HVAC industry experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly
Reliable and strong attention to detail
Be able to be on call nights and weekends on a rotating basis to support only emergency services
Must be able to use hands, reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop, sit, stand, and drive.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record in state of employment

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
