Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive Knowledge: In-depth experience with residential and light commercial HVAC Sheet metal systems, including:
- Prep, seal, and insulate metal ducting
- Hang and attach ducting with screws, tape, and TDF connections
- Hang and support equipment
- Install dampers, flex duct, boots, and grills
- Install air filter racks, electric heat coils, hydronic heat coils, and starter fittings
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
- Proven experience in HVAC Sheetmetal installation and repair with specific expertise in the systems listed above. (4-5 of years experience required )
Skills:
- Strong technical skills, a meticulous eye for detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and pitch in as needed.
- Computer skills and use of electronic devices for daily reports and communication to staff.
Attitude:
- A positive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to various project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain sheetmetal systems
- Utilize premium skills such as construction and Hvac duct for system installations.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC airflow issues using schematics and technical knowledge.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Drive company van to various job sites for service calls and repairs.
