General Job Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or some industrial settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
Install and connect wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and diagnose problems.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems.
Collaborate with other construction professionals as part of a team.
Estimate materials and labor costs for projects.
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

I. General Expectations
Technicians and installers (referred to as "techs" and "installers") must be at their first call or installation site by 8:30 am.
Prior to dispatching, techs and installers are required to call the customer to confirm the appointment.
The material list must be sent to and approved by the manager before initiating the job.
Once the purchase is made, a picture of the receipt must be sent to the manager for record-keeping purposes.
The first and last name of the customer must be included on every Purchase Order (PO).
Requests for days off must be submitted to the manager one to two weeks in advance of the requested day.
II. Service Excellence
Techs and installers are expected to provide exceptional service in the field, as per our slogan: "Shockingly Good Service."
They must consistently strive to meet and exceed the expectations set for being the best electrical company.
III. Dispatch and Job Completion
Techs must close out their job after completion before dispatching to the next one. The system will not allow them to move on to a new job until the current one is closed.
Techs must obtain both the customer's and their own signatures for documentation purposes.
It is mandatory to upload photos of every job for reference and record-keeping.
Techs are required to provide a detailed job description of the work performed.
Upon completion of the job, an email with the customer invoice must be sent.
IV. Payment Collection and Reporting
Techs are responsible for collecting payment from the customer and cannot leave the job until payment is received.
A picture of the front and back of any checks collected must be sent to the designated group chat.
Cash and checks must be handed over to the assigned manager for proper handling and depositing within the next business day. Signatures from both the manager and tech will be collected to confirm that an exchange took place.
V. Specific Requirements
For all Tesla installation jobs, the details must be uploaded to the Bolt app before moving on to the next job.
Techs and installers must wear shoe covers on every call, except when the customer's home is excessively dirty and using shoe covers would compromise cleanliness.
Presentation uniforms must be worn on all calls when arriving at the customer's home. The presentation shirt can be removed during installation but must be put back on when proceeding to a new customer.
Black boots are mandatory, and no other color boots are allowed.
Techs are required to have all necessary power tools, including grinders, impact and hammer drills, oscillating tools, hand tools, safety gloves for live work, safety goggles, drill bits, saws, blades, and any other tools required to complete the job. Techs are responsible for any missing tools.
