Job Overview:
The HVAC Technician I is an intermediate-level position in the HVAC industry. The HVAC Technician I is expected to assist Lead HVAC technicians when replacing/installing Forced Air Units, Coils, Condensers, Split Systems, Heat Pumps, Wall Furnaces, Floor furnaces, and roof packages. Must be able to conduct troubleshooting and diagnose HVAC Units. HVAC Technician I must follow program guidelines/ County and local codes when installing appliances. Our HVAC Technician I should be able to provide outstanding customer service and have good communication skills.

- The HVAC Technician I reports to the HVAC Supervisor
The Position:
We’re looking for an HVAC Technician I. The pay range is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities and Duties
- Successful complete certification training or any other required training
- Troubleshoot and Diagnose faulty units
- Read schematics
- Braze, pressurize, and run low-voltage wiring
- Assist in installing HVAC Units
- Educate customers on the energy-saving measures installed
- Report to schedule appointments on time and be prepared
- Maintain accurate customer records, files, forms, and paperwork
- Stay updated on program requirements and standards
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, staff, and utility company representatives
- Participate in the routine meetings, workshops, and training as directed by the HVAC Supervisor
- Responsible for the excellent image of the company while on company time
- Responsible for performing other duties/tasks assigned by the HVAC Supervisor
Requirements:
- Must have an active California Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must have essential HVAC Tools
- Solid math skills
- Must have an EPA license
- Have a minimum of one year of experience in HVAC
- Bilingual is a Plus
- Pass background check
- Pass drug test
