Role and Responsibilities:
- Assuring branch meets financial goals and maximizes net profit.
- Forecast and manage labor hours and labor needs, providing a 3-month look ahead.
- Develop and manage vendors and subcontractor resources to optimize project outcomes.
- Focus on client satisfaction by maintaining open communication and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with department heads in Asset Management, HR, IT, Estimating, and Finance to streamline project operations.
- Oversee warehouse inventory, deliveries, receiving, and consumable material needs.
- Maintain purchasing procedures and manage fabrication needs efficiently.
- Drive business development opportunities for the branch through effective networking.
- Manage warranty needs and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
- Recruit, manage, and develop field staff, project managers (PMs), project coordinators (PCs), and fabrication/warehouse personnel.
- Participate in leadership team meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Provide operational solutions for all projects to ensure smooth and efficient branch operations.
- Prioritize tasks and manage project schedules to meet deadlines effectively.
- Report weekly branch performance metrics to the leadership team, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Commercial HVAC/R, Plumbing, or Mechanical Industry
- At least 5 years of management experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and information.
