Automotive Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Sales Team Support: Work closely with sales associates to manage their daily work plan, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed efficiently. Work Directly with clients to CLOSE Sales. Collaborate with other sales managers to address any unresponsive salespeople and provide coaching and support as necessary.
Sales Process Optimization: Work with sales associates and managers to ensure adherence to the sales process. Review and enhance the process as needed to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Email and Communication Management: Respond to emails promptly, addressing inquiries, providing information, and coordinating appointments as necessary. Ensure effective communication between the customers and sales staff, fostering collaboration and timely follow-up.
Appointment and Showroom Visit Tracking: Review set appointments with sales staff and management, ensuring accuracy and follow-up as needed. Collaborate with sales associates and managers to ensure showroom visits are properly recorded and closed.
Team Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions with salespeople to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the stores system and established processes. Provide ongoing coaching and support to improve performance and achieve sales goals.
Sales Performance Analysis: Review closing percentages with salespeople, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
● 3+ years of Sales Management in the automotive industry.
● Chevrolet dealership management experience preferred, but not required.
● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work directly with clients to CLOSE sales. Collaborate with sales associates, other managers, and third-party providers.
● Proficiency in CRM systems and sales management tools.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
● Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
● Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales targets.
● Valid driver's licenses with a clean driving record required.
