We are looking for an experienced HVAC Installer to join our family! You will install residential heating and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
- Installing HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioning units, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.
- Measure, cut, and install ductwork and insulation according to design.
- Seal and insulate ductwork to ensure efficient operation.
- Install wiring and controls for HVAC systems.
- Ensure all electrical components are correctly connected and meet local codes.
- Install piping for HVAC systems, including gas, refrigerant, and water lines.
- Perform leak tests to ensure airtight connections.
- Test installed systems for proper operation and efficiency.
- Adjust settings, calibrate thermostats, and ensure proper airflow.
- Follow safety procedures for handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
- Work closely with other technicians, contractors, and builders.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely completion of installations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work without direct supervision to complete the job at hand
- Previous experience in HVAC
- Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Up to date driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
