PLUMBER
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Plumber is responsible for installing, inspecting and repairing pipes and plumbing systems found within modular, prefabricated buildings manufactured by Xtreme Cubes. The duties may include finding the source of leaks and blockages, fixing or replacing broken parts and testing the plumbing system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform installation of plumbing systems.
- Inspect previously installed plumbing systems and perform any necessary repairs.
- Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for various plumbing systems which Xtreme Cubes installs and maintains.
- Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections.
- Communicate well with fellow employees and management.
- Manage a work log.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least five (5) years of trade experience as a plumber.
- Current Nevada plumbing license highly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to read technical diagrams & blueprints.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend written and verbal English.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- For Full-Time employees, expect to work an 8-hour shift on average, including weekends if necessary.
- Reliably commute to Henderson, Nevada, or planning to relocate to local area before starting work.
- Comply with the brand and hygiene policies.
