Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, a background in HVAC/R, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including ductwork and equipment (split,package,roof top,wall mount and chillers).
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, using tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Perform field service calls to diagnose and repair HVAC system issues.
- Operate a van and travel to various job sites as needed.
- Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication and customer service.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop HVAC system designs for new construction and renovation projects.
- Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education in HVAC/R or a related field is preferred not req.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Proven mechanical knowledge and HVAC/R skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
