About this role
Based in the Canton, MA area preferred, this position will be responsible for leading a team of Field Service professionals, reviewing escalated issues, establishing and maintaining a good relationship with key customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage team of field technicians and office staff according to established programs and objectives.
- Oversee technician schedules and manage non-productive time.
- Responsible for technician recruiting and staffing as needed.
- Promote a safety culture and ensure zero safety incidents.
- Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against plan.
- Drive profitability of repair jobs and maintenance agreements.
- Resolves issues encountered on repair jobs and maintenance agreements.
- Escalate critical/complex issues that will impact the business.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
- Assist with contract renewals, warranty execution, cash flow mgmt. as needed.
- Respond to customer complaints and implement appropriate improvement plans.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of HVAC industry experience
- 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Clean and valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:
- 4+ years of service management experience in the Commercial HVAC industry
- Working knowledge and understanding of commercial HVAC systems
- Technical aptitude
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering or relevant field
- Proactive and able to balance multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, both written and oral
- Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to navigate SalesForce.com, ServiceMax, and other business applications
