Solar Shield Roofing & Solar is seeking a skilled Journeyman Residential Electrician in the Dallas area. In this role, you will be responsible for performing electrical installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on residential properties. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will ensure that all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in residential properties.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in compliance with local Dallas electrical codes.
- Perform panel upgrades, wiring replacements, and other residential electrical tasks.
- Work independently and lead electrical teams, including apprentices, on job sites.
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical standards and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members to complete projects on time.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of residential electrical experience.
- Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Texas.
- Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and blueprints.
- Comfortable working in a variety of environments, including attics and crawl spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
