Kitchen Equipment Repair Technician – Commercial (1+ years experience)

This job is for an apprentice technician with some experience in repairing commercial refrigeration or hot side equipment repair. Refrigerators, Freezers, Walk-ins, Low Boys, Prep Stations, Ovens, Ranges, Broilers, Fryers, Combi Ovens, Tilt Skillets, etc. Bring what you know, and we will train you for the rest!
Requirements:
- Must have 1 years commercial refrigeration or hot side equipment repair experience.
- Must have 1 years experience in electrical controls troubleshooting.
- Must be responsible individual
- Must have good customer relations.
- Must have pride in good artisanship.
- Must work well with others.
Must work well with or without supervision. Ideally the candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, to be able to explain problems, root problems, short and long term solutions to customers, and to keep tools, truck and paperwork clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Provide repair and maintenance services for refrigeration equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime for our clients' businesses.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and the ability to repair refrigeration equipment.
- Work with a group of field technicians, providing team assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with office staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with customers, discussing repair options, providing estimates, and answering any questions or concerns they may have.
- Stay up to date with industry advancements and proactively share knowledge with the team.
The individual will be responsible for a company vehicle and have a valid California drivers license with clean driving record. At times the individual will be required to work emergency calls on a Saturday, Sunday or Holiday. You will not be required to work both weekend days.
