Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/R principles, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, including heating and cooling units, air ducts, and ventilation systems.
- Conduct routine checks and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Use specialized tools, such as an Ohmmeter, to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to design and build custom HVAC/R systems.
- Utilize welding techniques to fabricate and install HVAC/R components.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including responding to service calls and communicating with clients.
- Operate a van to transport equipment and travel to job sites.
- Perform appliance repair and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Strong understanding of HVAC/R design principles and building codes.
- Ability to operate a van and travel to job sites.
- Experience with field service and appliance repair.
- Proficiency with welding and fabrication techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
