Qualifications and Skills
- 5 years of field experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid and clean driver’s license
- Universal EPA certification
- Union training or NATE certifications (a plus)
Who We’re Looking For
An outstanding HVAC service and installation technician who is comfortable installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting large tonnage equipment, including packaged units, split systems, and screw machines. Proficiency with laptops, tablets, and smartphones is essential.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Some of your Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance of heating and cooling systems
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
- Perform installations of new HVAC systems
- Repair and replace defective components in HVAC systems
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or relevant role
- Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, pressure gauges, voltmeters, and other diagnostic equipment
- Strong understanding of HVAC design and installation techniques
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Previous work as a service technician
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs
- Experience with HVAC/R systems
- Ability to fabricate, build, or boil materials for system repairs
