Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Test electrical systems using voltmeters and ohmmeters
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions
- Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license required
- Proficiency in working with high and low voltage systems
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory and practices
- Ability to use power tools effectively
- Previous experience in construction or as a maintenance person is a plus
