We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance and repair department, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing principles and practices, as well as experience in maintaining and repairing plumbing fixtures, appliances, and systems. **Responsibilities:**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including water heaters, toilets, sinks, and drains.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Install, assemble, and disassemble plumbing fixtures and appliances as required.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on plumbing systems to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Operate and maintain plumbing systems as needed.
- Work safely on construction sites and in confined spaces.
- Lift and move heavy objects, such as pipes and fixtures, as required.
- Weld and fabricate plumbing components as needed.
- Participate in the remodeling and renovation of existing plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance practices.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
**Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of plumbing principles and practices.
- Experience with maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures and appliances.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
- Experience working in a field service environment.
- Ability to work safely on construction sites and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and other physically demanding tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
