Job Title: Commercial HVAC Parts Manager

Position Overview: The Commercial HVAC Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of HVAC commodity and OEM parts. This role is responsible for the training of all sales and warehouse personnel to ensure proper knowledge to support our customer base. This role ensures that all parts are available to support the sales of our outside sales as well as our counter sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain optimal stock levels of HVAC parts and equipment, ensuring availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to track parts usage and manage stock.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Source and purchase HVAC commodity and OEM parts from suppliers and manufacturers.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure the best quality and pricing.
- Distribution and Logistics:
- Coordinate the distribution of parts to service and installation teams.
- Manage logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to job sites.
- Oversee the handling and storage of parts to prevent damage and ensure accessibility.
- Supervise and train a team of parts coordinators and support staff.
- Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to parts and equipment with internal teams and external clients.
- Provide technical support and guidance on parts selection and application as needed.
- Generate and analyze reports on parts usage, inventory levels, and procurement activities.
- Identify trends and opportunities for improvement in inventory management and procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Implement and uphold safety practices in the handling and storage of HVAC parts and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in parts management, preferably in the HVAC industry.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and parts.

Working Conditions:
- Office-based with occasional visits to warehouses or job sites.
- May require lifting and moving of parts and equipment.
