OBJECTIVES:
An Advanced Level Maintenance Tech at Tennessee Performing Arts Center is responsible for maintaining all facilities in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to the standards of guest service, primarily during evening and weekend shifts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily rounds-check restrooms, offices, common areas, lighting, refrigeration, and room temperatures.
- Attend to any work orders and internal service requests.
- Maintain all Facilities and Operating Systems in a safe and efficient working order.
- Complete assigned tasks in a safe, timely manner.
- Work with outside contractors to provide necessary improvements or maintenance as directed.
- Maintain records of all work activities and support materials.
- Provide written reports to other departments as needed.
- Provide for safe disposal of all waste material.
- Maintain tools and work area in safe, secure and efficient manner.
- Work with other departments when directed.
- Keep track of supplies and fill out requisition for needed supplies.
- Assist with preventative maintenance in common areas and back of house spaces.
- Perform advanced electrical, refrigeration and HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Provide supervision of other maintenance personnel.
The above listed duties are not all inclusive. This position is expected to perform other work related duties as assigned even though they may not be considered primary duties
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have flexible schedule to include working nights and weekends.
- Previous maintenance experience.
- Basic skills required with computers.
- Must pass a background check.
Preferred
- Electrical, EPA, or HVAC certified
- Trade School Diploma/Certificate
- Bilingual: English/Spanish

- Training Provided: Momentus, Tessitura, Concur, Hello Sign, and ADP
