What Youll Be Doing
- Establish an environment of teamwork, employee involvement/empowerment, fairness and consistency.
- Help train and coach electrical team, recommends discipline and development opportunities to Production Manager.
- Uphold safety procedures.
- Partner with Production Manager to ensure successful completion of electrical assembly responsibilities by all team members.
- Perform job tasks as other team members of the electrical team including:
- Layout and wire industrial electrical control panels
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wire panels from prints
- Interface machines on the shop floor from boxes to connection points
- Help check I/O on initial start-up of press
- Troubleshoot any issues with initial start-up of press
- Provide daily guidance to the production electrical team and assist others when needed
- Help determine electrical layout on machine and panels
- Provide estimated timelines toProduction Manager for scheduling
- Monitor Teams and email to keep up with communication
- Work regularly with other leads to ensure workflows and schedules are streamlined on the production floor
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years of supervisory experience
- Technical school a plus
- Minimum of 7 years electrical/wiring control panels experience
- Understand electrical components and electricity
- Experience building control panels to UL specifications
- Ability to read schematics and wire panels from prints
- Industrial Manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated ability to pro-actively encourage continuous improvement and solve problems

- Must have the ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
- Demonstrated leadership in a group setting

Work Environment
This position operates in a clean room environment with equal time in the plant. The employee is regularly exposed to a variety of conditions within the plant. The noise level is usually moderate. Will be exposed to manufacturing conditions including heat in the summer months and cold in the winter months.
