The Federal Reserve Bank is looking for a new electrician.
The primary position focus involves working on different electrical projects within the Facilities Maintenance Team. The responsibilities would include the building electrical systems supply and control including building lighting.
Also responsible for Life/Safety systems as well as all the entry/exit systems in the building including X-ray machines.

Responsible for:
- Designs, plans, and participates in the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring, apparatus and equipment, including the emergency and critical power systems.
- Performs electrical maintenance and mechanical repair of critical building systems and equipment safely and within applicable code.
- Performs preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical electrical systems.
- Provides electrical training to non-electrical Facilities staff.
- Works with contractors to perform maintenance on specialized critical electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Coordinates scheduling of PM and IR programs with non-scheduled work.
- Performs maintenance on Bank automobile fleet.
- Maintains stock of various repair parts and hardware.
- Repairs a wide variety of electrical and mechanical equipment, including, but not limited to: currency take-away system; electric rolling doors; security barriers; swinging and revolving doors; conveyor systems and controls; fitness center equipment, etc.
- Provides input and reviews electrical drawings for new office construction.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Vocational/trade school degree with emphasis in electrical installation, construction and maintenance.
- Continuing education to keep abreast of advancement in technology and keep valid license.
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical construction or maintenance experience with a valid Journeyman license is required. Be willing to work towards achieving a Master Electrician license within 2 years.
- Experience working on large electrical and mechanical projects
- Requires on call coverage on weekends and after-hours for critical and /or emergency situations involving the building mechanical systems.
- Also requires ability to work shifts outside an assigned regular work schedule as necessary to meet the department’s needs.
Additional Information:
- Salary range is $73,800-$92,188-$110,600. Salary offerwill be based on qualifications/experienceof the candidate, alignment with market data, the needs of the position, our total compensation package, and internal equity.
- Onsite work is an essential function of this position, and you are expected to be in the office 5 days per week, unless directed otherwise by your supervisor.
