We are looking for a Special Project HVAC Install Foreman/Mechanic, who are looking for an exciting career with an industry leader that’s been in the business since 1929.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR THE JOB:
- Performing various HVAC install related jobs on our commercial sites.
- Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines including proper brazing skills.
- Proficient at most duct system installations from equipment through final GRDs.
- Capable of looking ahead and creating a material and work force plan for a particular area of work.
- Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Oversee, work with and provide direction for fellow colleagues as needed.
- Continuously represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Three or more years of experience specific to the commercial HVAC industry; residential type equipment utilized as well on commercial projects.
- EPA/OSHA certifications beneficial but not required.
- Clear knowledge and understanding of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning requirements and operations, including proper equipment startups.
- Supervise and participate in the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with blueprints, manufacturer specifications and written and/or verbal instruction.
- Plan and assign work to ensure proper distribution of work with newer team members to the trade, for efficient performance of duties at each job site.
- Ability to identify costly deviations from the plans and bring them to the attention of the project manager.
- Ability to work with other trades and communicate and coordinate conflicts.
- Ability to perform all trade-related math calculations for proper installation of equipment
- Must possess the ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and submittal sheets
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift heavy objects.
- General understanding of OSHA regulations.
- Operating knowledge of HVAC systems and efficient use of hand tools.
- Basic understanding of installation, HVAC systems, and operating basic control systems.
- Clean driving record.
