Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Perform regular maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
- Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Follow blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturer instructions when installing or repairing HVAC systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Proficient in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and design specifications
- Skilled in using tools and equipment necessary for HVAC work, such as welding equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and explain technical information clearly
