Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Technician to join our our clients team who has been in operation for over 50+ years. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative team environment. This role involves performing new trouble calls, maintenance, warranty work, and emergency repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, warranty, and emergency repairs on HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Handle a rotating on-call schedule for a week-long period, including potential overflow emergency calls on weekdays.
- Work on various HVAC and refrigeration systems including:
- Air Conditioners
- Commercial Package Units
- Forced Air Furnaces
- Mini-Split Systems
- Wall and Floor Heaters
- Zoning systems
- Cold Side Restaurant Equipment
- Chillers
- Ice Machines
- Walk-In Coolers and Freezers
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration for top-tier pay.
- Technical proficiency in HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- EPA Universal License required.
- Hydronic heating and hot water boiler skills are a plus, not required!
