Responsibilities of Commercial/Industrial HVAC Sales Representative:
- Generate New Customer Leads and positive relationships with those customers
- Recommend and sell HVAC systems and services to leads and existing customers both face to face and over the phone
- Maintain performance based on goals and objectives
- preparing estimates, creating proposals, and communication and coordination with technicians and support staff
- Communicates effectively and professionally with co-workers and managers, relaying all information affecting sales, market trends, and conditions, market segment performance and competitive situations.
- Answer customer questions and provide appropriate solutions
- Prepares occasional reports, verbal or written, to support this communication.
Qualifications of Commercial/Industrial HVAC Sales Representative:
- 4+ years of HVAC Specific Sales experience required
- Experience or knowledge of heating and air/HVAC preferred
- HVAC System sales experience preferred
- Commercial HVAC System Knowledge [Especially Service - PM, related processes, labor & Material expenses, scheduling of resources etc.]
- Experience with Service/Estimating Software for preparing estimates and proposals
- Ability to determine best equipment for customers home and create a plan preferred
- Strong team player, particularly as it relates to being ethical, honest, and trustworthy within the team and organization
- Ability to multi-task
- Proactive and creative ways to solve problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for inside sale representatives
