Job Title: HVAC Service Technician
Pay: $28.00-35.00
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team at HardHat Workforce Solutions servicing HVAC systems on a military base. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with military regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Install new HVAC systems and equipment in accordance with military specifications and safety standards.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to ensure HVAC systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems, identifying and resolving issues to prevent equipment failures.
- Repair and Troubleshooting
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects in HVAC systems, including troubleshooting complex issues.
- Repair or replace defective components and parts of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Test HVAC systems after repairs to ensure proper functionality and compliance with military standards.
- Military Base Compliance:
- Follow strict military base regulations and protocols while performing HVAC services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections as required by military authorities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and security measures while working on military installations.
- Customer Service and Communication:
- Interact professionally with military personnel and base officials, providing exceptional customer service.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain HVAC issues, recommended solutions, and maintenance plans.
- Coordinate with base management and other contractors as needed to complete HVAC projects and tasks.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on HVAC system performance, maintenance activities, and repair work.
- Document all parts used, hours worked, and expenses incurred during service calls.
- Submit reports and documentation in a timely manner to comply with military base requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an **HVAC Service Technician**
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Previous experience working on military installations or government contracts.
- Additional certifications related to HVAC systems or military base operations.
