PFL Services is looking for an experienced Pipefitter Minimum of 5 years of experience needed in all aspects of commercial piping industry. Locals are encouraged to apply! If you have previous pipe fitting experience and are seeking a new opportunity, apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Install industrial piping systems including chill water, hot water, steam, condensate, condensed water.
- Install and apply routine maintenance on pipe systems.
- Inspect work area to ensure nothing will affect potential pipe systems.
- Must be able to read blueprints and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Must be versed with multiple materials of pipe (Stainless, Carbon Steel, etc.)
- Fabricate pipe supports.
- Fabricate and spool copper lines.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years Pipefitter experience.
- Must have pipefitter hand tools.
- Knowledge of pipefitter equipment and power tools.
- Must have Knowledge of pipe fabrication methods.
- Organization and time management.
- Willingness to guard your own personal safety and safety of others.
- Ability to work with others – team player.
- Able to work minimum 40 plus hours per week.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Able to stand and work prolonged periods of time.
Education:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
Job Requirements/Special Skills:
- Self-Motivated individual with cooperative attitude a must.
- Ability to communicate with shop foreman with concerns towards safety and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work under direct supervision if required.
- Pigging Knowledge, a Plus.
- Need to pass a drug test, background check and E-Verify.
