We are currently seeking experienced commercial HVAC service technicians. Technician must be able to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial and industrial fields. Applicants must Have proficient experience in HVAC trade to accommodate the following expectations.
· Install HVAC systems and components like compressors, motors, piping, and ducts.
· Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on site work as necessary.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, then perform repairs.
· Inspect and test systems and components, recharge refrigerant levels, check for leaks, and perform energy-efficiency upgrades.
· Responsible for servicing product and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer service.
· Use a variety of hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
· Inspect vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness, keep records of service, scheduling and complete repairs and maintenance service.
· Documents work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, duration and maintaining files.
· Keep current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair.
· Ability to properly braze refrigerant piping.
· Proficient in reading schematics and mechanical prints.
· Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on HVAC systems.
· Ability to safely work at elevations such as roofs, scissor lifts and ladders.
· Excellent written, verbal and listening interpersonal skills.
· Time management skills.
Qualifications:
· 3-5 years of experience servicing commercial HVAC systems desired.
· EPA Certification and any other trade related Certifications (preferred).
· Must be able to follow directions from management and work independently.
· Attention to detail is required.
· Ability to perform physically demanding work on a regular basis.
· Mechanical aptitude.
· EPA/NATE strongly preferred.
· Must be able to pass background check, drug screening and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
· Maintain a professional appearance.
· Able to work with computers and smart phone.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.04 - $30.15 per hour
