Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of HVAC technicians, ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. If you have a strong mechanical background and leadership skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of HVAC technicians
- Inspect HVAC systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members
- Develop maintenance schedules and implement preventive maintenance procedures
- Troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend solutions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units
- Familiarity with tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Certification in HVAC or relevant field is a plus
- Experience in property maintenance or equipment repair is desirable
