We seek a skilled Service Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise in hydronic heating and cooling systems. As a Service Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain various heating and cooling systems, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on hydronic heating and cooling systems.
- Diagnose issues and implement effective repair solutions.
- Adequately address customer needs through attentive listening and honest communication.
- Test and adjust system parameters to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain technical issues and recommended solutions.
- Document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Generate accurate estimates for additional recommend work and time to complete.
- Follow up on submitted estimates.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service calls and projects.
- Maintain adequate materials stock on service vehicle.
- Coordinate service vehicle maintenance with office support.
- Collect payment for services rendered.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum (2) years of experience in hydronic system installation or service.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a variety of hydronic system components.
- Strong understanding of hydronic system principles of operation and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- EPA certification preferred.
- NATE certification is a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Performs quality work with or without direct supervision.
- Presentable and professional appearance.
- Willing and able to be on call.
