Job Summary:
By working closely with the HVAC Manager the HVAC Installer will complete jobs on time and under budget.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour + bonus potential (Weekly Pay)
HVAC Installer Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures jobs are properly staged; signs off on job quality checklist
- Works alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business
- Adheres to the company’s plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably
- Maintains a clean, organized job sit and well-inventoried truck
- Participates actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training
- Trains and mentors apprentices to ensure on-time, high quality installations
- Is accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback, and option sheets
HVAC Installer Required Skills/Abilities:
- Develop proven track record in heating and cooling systems including the ability to draw simple diagrams and read blueprints and other diagrams
- Clean, safe driving record
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication
- High integrity with advanced social skills and ability to make solid connections
- Desire to be a better installer tomorrow than you are today
- Competitive individual contributor who also loves to win as a team
- Knowledge of how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction
Education and Experience:
- EPA certification with knowledge of applicable installation and venting codes
- Three to four years of HVAC experience preferred
- Residential HVCAC experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs at a time
